Today I want to tell you about a very special day. It was a long-awaited birthday present as the helicopter flight was rebooked thousands times because the weather is not very kind here when it comes to flying such a small machine like that. But I'm totally grateful for that beautiful, sunny day in May.
We started from London about 12p.m. and headed to Blackbushe Airport. A small place outside of the city where people learn how to fly and where you can have some private flights. Since morning time the weather was just perfect. Sun, sun and one more time a lot of sun... I think those were the only days in May which were so sunny. Not even one cloud on the sky. We were anticipating that day as none of us flown the helicopter before. And finally we could do it....
